Providence City’s General Plan includes the objective of creating a network of bicycle and pedestrian sidewalks and pathways. The current trail system is minimal with a majority of the trails being limited to recreational purposes. The addition of bike lanes, bike routes, and shared use bike/pedestrian paths would increase safety and recreation opportunities for residents and visitors alike.
View both the Parks, Trails and Recreation Master Plan and maps of the City’s proposed trails on the story map, then share you comments and/or suggestions on or before November 30, 2022.
