May 17th, 2023: Please take notice that the Providence City Council will be holding a public hearing regarding a request  to annex parcel 02-117-0022, which is generally located in the area of 480 W 600 S (600 S Garden Dr.) Providence UT. January 11th, 2023: Please take notice that the Providence City Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing regarding a special review application from the Providence Springs 55+ Cluster Development. Developers are requesting that their front porches be allowed to extend 6-ft. into the front setback. The development has a minimum front setback of 20 Ft.

November 16th, 2022: The Providence City Council will be holding a public hearing to take comments and questions regarding bike lane improvements and routes per the approved 2020 Transportation Master Plan.
November 16th, 2022: The Providence City Council will be holding a public hearing to discuss a proposed ordinance amending Providence City Code 5-1-22(b) public nuisances prohibited & PCC 5-1-29 loud or offensive animals, penalty. Amendment seeks to comply with HB 202 changing criminal penalties for animal violations from a Class C Misdemeanor to an Infraction.
October 26th, 2022: the Providence City Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing to discuss plans to amend the wording of strategies listed in 6.3 of the moderate-income housing elements of the Providence City General Plan 2020.
October 26th, 2022: The Providence City Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing to discuss a proposed amendment to City Code 10-4-1 Zoning Districts Established. Amendment is seeking to change the names and abbreviations of the district zones to be more consistent with the current common terms and standards used by the County and other like municipalities.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the provisions of the Utah Local Government Bonding Act, Title 11, Chapter 14, Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended, that on September 16, 2020, the City Council (the “Council”) of Providence City, Utah (the “Issuer”), adopted a resolution (the “Resolution”) in which it authorized the issuance and sale of the Issuer’s Water Revenue Bonds (herein, the “Bonds”) in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $2,000,000, to bear interest at a rate or rates not to exceed one and one-half percent (1.5%) per annum, to mature in not more than thirty-two (32) years from their date or dates, and to be sold at a Price not less than ninety-nine percent (99%) of the total principal amount thereof.  If Bonds are issued in the full amount above, and carried to maximum maturity, at the maximum interest rate, then the amount to be repaid will be approximately $2,519,480.  However, the Issuer anticipates that the Bonds will not be issued in an amount in excess of $1,990,000 at an interest rate of not more than one and one-half percent (1.5%) per annum, to be repaid over thirty (30) years, in which event the amount to be repaid will be approximately $2,486,230.  Presently, the Issuer has no more than $324,000 in outstanding bonds secured by a pledge of water revenues.  No taxes will be pledged to secure the Bonds.
