Recorder
The City Recorder maintains and preserves the official records of Providence City including the proceedings of the Council and other public Boards/Committees. The Recorder also publishes legal notices and serves as the Municipal Elections Official and Justice Court Clerk. In addition, the Recorder maintains all ordinances and resolutions, keeps the Municipal Code, oversees the City’s Public Records Request Program, and administers Oaths of Office.
