Sauerkraut Days is here! August 15th – August 20th, 2022
Here are some pictures from this years August 2022 event.
The parade will go from the LDS Church on 300 S. and Main Street to turn on Center Street and go down Center Street to 200 W. Ending in Zollinger Park.
Providence City will be hosting the 12th (Covid made us skip a few…) annual Saurkraut 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run Saturday, August 20th. So put on your running shoes and join in the fun. Bag pickup starts at 5:30pm on August 19th and Saturday 7:30am at Zollinger Park (51 North 200 West) with an 8:00am race start for the 5K and 8:30 for the 1 mile. Registration is $10.00 and will include a Sauerkraut Cup and many other fun additions inside a fun bag. A Scout fundraiser pancake breakfast will be available at the finish line. There will be awards given for the top three finishers (men & women in the 5K and top three finishers under 12 in the mile). We look forward to a great event and hope to see you there.

This tournament will be a timed, round robin style tournament. Games will be 12 min, with 3 min in between. The total event each night should take 2 hours. People will register as teams; no age or gender differentiation, just skill level (beginner or intermediate). Prizes will be given for the top 3 finishing teams in each division (beginner and intermediate). Winners will be based off of most wins, then points scored, then differential if needed. Each participant will receive a swag bag.
